The other side of planting - felling! Wattle is a huge problem for us, not just ‘cos its thirsty but they are invasive and so difficult to get rid of. They pop up EVERY morning in the veggie garden. Constant work, but we are up for the challenge! And the free fire wood. ;)
We’ve been planting and planting. Trying to see if we have any sort of green finger between us. Luckily starting with succulents is quite encouraging.
Spekboom; nicknamed the miracle plant, or the tree of life, is an incredible thing to have around and we are planting it as much as we can. This plant cleans the air one gulp of carbon at a time and releases oxygen so rapidly that big companies are buying it to offset their carbon footprint. So the more the merrier we think.
