This Holistic Wellness Retreat creates the space for us to combine meditation, yoga, wholeness workshops and time spent in nature. Nutritious vegetarian meals and cleansing juices will supercharge  your physical body to support release and regeneration on every level and allow a deeper, clearer connection to spirit. Through natural and holistic pathways we are able to access the presence, power and potential of simply being.

Sand River Getaway is an Eco getaway where we are trying to live a sustainable existence. Facilities are all centralized with the hot water and the fridge using gas and lights in the Center being solar powered. Our water comes from a borehole and is delicious. We keep the lighting minimal so that you can see the incredible stars at night. These elements of our establishment mean we urge guests to be mindful and understanding when using facilities. 

Accommodation is rustic in tented rooms, some shared. This is a first come first serve basis. Couples will be given preference to double bed private rooms.

Our Services

Yoga

The yoga practice will be lead by Alan Waite. He will be facilitating a meditation time on Friday evening. A yoga practice in the morning on Saturday and one in the evening as well as Sunday morning.

Food

There will be 3 communal meals served per day. The meals will all be vegetarian and will be focussed on nutrition through variation of ingredients.


Wholeness workshops

Wesley Kew, a clinical psychologist will be facilitating wholeness workshops in different areas of the farm to get in touch with yourself and nature.

Hikes and walks

We have a number of beautiful hikes and walks around the farm so we will be leading some of these.
